Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is a stone with a history dating back 5000 years, where it was prized by the pharaohs of ancient Egypt where it was used to make treasures; scarabs and eye-shaped amulets. It promotes steadiness and courage and aids in communication and meditation. It is associated with truth, balance, and justice. Lapis Lazuli is also known for relieving melancholy, depression, and tension.

Lapis lazuli contains Lazurite (blue), Calcite (white) and Pyrite (metallic yellow)

Lapis Lazuli, the blue planet! Lapis grows together with Pyrite giving it its strong protection properties. In the olden days, it was used to create manuscripts and beautiful paintings for cathedrals specially in Europe.
